Claudia López Moncada
Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Initiative on Data and Artificial Intelligence, University of Chile
Currently, my research and outreach activities focus primarily on human-centered artificial intelligence. My teaching covers the broader area of human-centered computing. In addition to being a faculty member at the University of Chile, I am a principal investigator at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (CENIA) and an associate investigator at the Millennium Institute on Authority and Social Regulation (ASOR). I currently serve on the Senior Program Committee for ACM CSCW 2026 and on the Steering Committee for ChileWiC, the Chilean celebration of Women in Computing. I am also the deputy director of dashAI, a no-code, open-source machine learning platform. From 2015 to early 2026, I was a faculty member in the Department of Informatics at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María.
