Claudia López Moncada

My research and teaching activities focus on human-centered computing. My projects concentrate on two broad lines: human-centered artificial intelligence and social computing. Besides working as an associate professor, I am a principal researcher at the National Center of Artificial Intelligence (CENIA) and the Millennium Nucleus Futures of Artificial Intelligence Research (FAIR). I am also co-director of the user-experience (UX) Lab at UTFSM, Valparaíso, Chile. I am currently part of the Senior Program Committee of ACM CSCW 2026, as well as the Steering Committee of ChileWiC, the Chilean celebration of Women in Computing.
